Our own developed and tested catalogue is the starting point. Catalogue changes are normally considered case by case; not every request is feasible. Options may include leather colours, textures and finishes; nickel or brass hardware; names, runes, symbols or dates; strap and other small practical changes; embossed motif changes; and custom sizing.
Before purchasing, send the product link and the precise changes you want. We’ll assess any added cost and time individually. Clean, ready artwork—ideally vector artwork in black and white—may be usable as supplied. A reference that needs redrawing or adaptation, or an idea that needs artwork developed, may require separately quoted design hours.
For custom sizing, follow our measuring guidance and provide complete, accurate measurements. Pattern changes, extra materials or changes to decorative patterns and stencils scaled to a new size can add time and design cost.

explore customisation optionsExceptional new designs are considered only when they fit our aesthetic and creative direction and may have potential for our future catalogue. We develop and test our own catalogue; we do not offer exclusive one-off commissions or operate as a general bespoke workshop. Developing a new design goes beyond making one item: pattern and prototype work, fit testing, and development of materials, colours and finishes can take substantial workshop effort. We invest in that development because a design may later be offered in our catalogue; new designs are non-exclusive.
NOT ALL YOU SEE OR THINK IS POSSIBLE
Some screen, game or film references may not translate into leather. Structure, materials and in-person fit can limit feasibility. We’ll advise honestly, suggest alternatives where appropriate, or decline. Workshop availability varies; busy periods may limit or pause acceptance of new custom work.
We develop and test our own leather catalogue, but some designs we made previously may no longer be listed. You can ask us to assess a specific earlier design. This is a request to revisit an existing workshop design, not a new commission or immediately available stock.
Reproduction is not guaranteed. We reassess whether the design can be reproduced, material availability, workshop schedule and price. Any quotation is individual and may differ from the original price.
Explore past designs and enquiry conditionsEvery project involves professional work: personalised communication, technical assessment, design or pattern preparation where needed, materials, skilled making and workshop planning. The quotation reflects the work involved in your project, not only the finished object. Please ask us to confirm the scope before you agree to proceed.
Before confirming, carefully review the written product details, measurements, colours, finishes and requested changes. Ask us to clarify anything that is unclear. We will work from the specifications we have agreed together.
Customising a catalogue item always costs more than its basic, ready-made stock version. Simple modifications that fit our normal workflow may involve a relatively modest additional charge; more complex requests require greater investment in design, development and skilled workshop time. You are commissioning experienced craftspeople whose main work is creating and selling our own designs. A custom project is an investment in craftsmanship and quality, not a low-cost alternative to a catalogue product. We assess each request individually and provide a carefully calculated quotation. Quoted prices are fixed and not open to negotiation. If the quoted budget is not suitable, we may not be the right fit for the project.
Custom and rush work is priced at the regular, non-discounted base price plus individually assessed custom work. Discount codes, sale prices, automatic promotions and requested additional discounts do not apply. A rush request for a date earlier than the regular schedule requires separate workshop approval; no requested date is guaranteed.
All quotations are issued in euros (EUR). If you use another currency, please check the equivalent amount yourself using the current exchange rate; we do not prepare quotations in customers’ local currencies. Quotations are valid for 15 days unless we state otherwise. After 15 days, the quotation expires and we need to review the project and issue a new one. The updated price may differ because it is based on our costs at that time, including leather, hardware, production supplies, electricity and other workshop costs.
Catalogue changes may include colours, textures, finishes, hardware, personal details, small practical adjustments or sizing. Requests are assessed case by case; not every change is feasible. Send the product link and requested changes before purchasing.
New designs are considered exceptionally for creative fit and possible future catalogue use; we do not offer exclusive one-off designs. A specific earlier workshop design outside the current catalogue may be assessed for reproduction, subject to design, materials and availability. See the separate New designs and Previous designs sections for details.
For artwork, send clean ready-to-use artwork if you have it; vector artwork in black and white is ideal. A reference may need redrawing or adaptation, and developing artwork from an idea may require separately quoted design hours.
For custom sizing, follow the workshop’s measuring guidance and provide complete, accurate measurements. Pattern changes, extra materials or decorative patterns and stencils scaled to fit can add time and design cost. We’ll assess what is feasible.
Custom orders are made specifically for you; we cannot fulfil them by taking an already finished piece directly from stock. Please allow for manufacturing rather than the dispatch time of a ready-to-ship item. The time required depends on the product, the complexity of your request and our workshop schedule. A simple change, such as choosing brass hardware instead of nickel during production, is different from a project requiring design, research, patterns or other development work. We will discuss the work and expected timing with you individually. Please enquire well in advance for complex projects. During busy periods, we may need to place your request on a waiting list until we have a suitable production opening.
No. Discounts are available only for eligible ready-made stock items that can be selected from stock and sent to you without changes. They may be offered to support the workshop’s stock management. If a request means we cannot take the finished item directly from stock and send it to you as it is, we treat it as a custom order. Discount codes, sale prices, promotions and additional requested discounts do not apply. Requests to accelerate production are also treated as custom orders for this purpose and are not eligible for discounts.
We do not accept changes, returns or cancellations for custom orders. The item is made specifically for you, following the instructions and specifications you have agreed with us, and cannot be sold to another customer. Please review your request carefully before confirming. Once your order has been accepted and the custom-order process has begun, work is already being invested in your project. This includes research, personalised customer communication and support, and pre-production work, as well as any materials purchased or prepared for the order. These working hours and resources form part of the project, even before the finished piece is made. The order cannot be cancelled once that process has begun.

You can use this form or email us at outcastprops@gmail.com to start a conversation about your idea. If you would like to explain your project in more detail or send reference photos and other images, please use email so you can include everything together. Tell us whether you would like to modify a catalogue item, revisit a previous design or propose a new one. Include the relevant product or design reference, the changes you have in mind and any date you are working towards. You do not need every technical detail to make an initial enquiry. We will review feasibility and workshop availability before agreeing an order; an enquiry does not confirm acceptance or reserve a production slot.
