This Battle Damage version is made for characters who need a darker, harsher and more war-worn look: vikings, barbarians, orcs, raiders, mercenaries, rangers, monster hunters and battle-scarred fantasy warriors.
This listing always includes the complete double scabbard system: one shorter upper scabbard and one longer lower scabbard. You do not choose between one or two scabbards. The set comes with both.

⚔️ HOW IT WORKS
This is a modular double belt scabbard system. The shorter scabbard attaches to your belt, and the longer scabbard hangs below it using the rings and leather suspension straps. Together, they create a layered angled carry that looks powerful without becoming bulky.
The set can be worn in different ways depending on your costume: you can carry both scabbards together, use only the short scabbard, or use only the long scabbard. What cannot be done is placing the long scabbard above the short one in the double setup, because the suspension rings and attachment system are designed for the short scabbard to sit on top.
🔁 AMBIDEXTROUS DESIGN
The system can be configured for left or right side wear. To change the carrying side, you need to dismantle the strap setup, swap the short and long suspension straps, and reposition the scabbards so the swords tilt toward the side you need.
This is not a quick flip while wearing it. It is an ambidextrous modular design that can be adjusted before the event depending on your dominant hand, costume layout or preferred draw direction.

Fits belts up to: 10 cm / 3.94 in wide
The leather straps allow you to adjust both the hanging height and the blade angle, so the scabbards can sit more vertical or more diagonal depending on comfort, balance and character style. Each scabbard can also be tightened or loosened to fit different LARP sword and prop blade widths.

🥇 MATERIALS AND CRAFTSMANSHIP
Crafted from premium full grain Spanish vegetable tanned leather, cut, shaped, dyed, textured and finished by hand in our workshop.
The Battle Damage finish is individually aged using Outcast Props’ weathering techniques, creating a rugged leather texture with darkened marks, worn edges and a brutal fantasy look. It is designed to feel like gear that has already survived raids, campaigns, tavern fights and long roads.
🎭 CHARACTER STYLE
This scabbard works especially well for viking costumes, barbarian characters, orc warriors, raiders, mercenaries, rangers, dungeon hunters, dark fantasy adventurers and rough medieval LARP outfits.
It pairs perfectly with gambesons, broadbelts, cloaks, bracers, pauldrons, war skirts, tunics and layered leather costume gear.

We use responsibly sourced vegetable tanned leather, natural pigments and water-based dyes whenever possible. Our goal is to create durable, repairable costume gear made to last through many events, instead of disposable costume accessories.

🧼 CARE
Wipe dust away with a soft dry cloth after events. Avoid soaking the leather or exposing it to prolonged moisture. If needed, apply a small amount of good quality leather conditioner. Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

Each scabbard set is handmade and hand-aged individually. Small differences in marks, tone, texture and finish are part of the Battle Damage look, not defects.
